Onions – 4–5

Ginger – 1-inch piece

Green garlic – 5–6

Peas – 100 grams

Beans – 50 grams

Cabbage – 100 grams

Bell pepper – 1 large

Green chilies – 2 large

Broccoli – 280 grams

Baby corn – 4–5

Cauliflower – 250 grams

Carrot – 1 large

Tomatoes – 3

Cornflour – 1/2 teaspoon

Red chili sauce – 3–4 tablespoons

Soy sauce – 2 teaspoons

Sweet and sour sauce – 1/3 cup

Salt – to taste

Black pepper powder – 1/2 teaspoon

Vinegar – 1 teaspoon

How to make mix veg recipe

To make mix vegetable, heat oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add chopped onions and sauté until they turn light pink. Add green garlic and ginger, and mix well. Gradually add all the vegetables one by one. In a bowl, mix cornflour with some water to make a smooth paste and add it to the vegetables. Cover the pan and let the vegetables cook.

Once the vegetables are cooked, add red chili sauce, soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, salt, black pepper powder, and vinegar. Mix everything well. Cover and cook for another 5–10 minutes. Once done, uncover and check.

Serve the hot mix vegetable with jeera rice, plain rice, naan, or plain paratha.

Tips

You can add food red color to the vegetable if you prefer.

If you like your mix vegetable a little sweet, you can also add tomato sauce to it.

Adding sweet and sour sauce is optional, depending on your taste preference.
