How to make milk peda

When the mawa starts leaving the sides of the pan, transfer it to a plate. Let it cool. Now, add powdered sugar to it and mix it well.
Shape the mixture into round pedas. Garnish them with pistachios or chopped almonds on top. Your milk peda is ready.
Tips
The amount of sugar can be adjusted according to taste, adding more or less as preferred. This is homemade mawa made from cow’s milk, so its color has turned brown.
When making mawa, keep the gas on low heat. You can also use plain mawa from the market, but don’t add it directly to the pan. First, grate it well with a grater to ensure there are no lumps.
