How to make chocolate crumble

To make Chocolate Crumble, melt the chocolate using the double boiler method. Once the chocolate is melted, add fresh cream to it and set it aside. Take another bowl and crumble the flour and butter together well. It should be crumbled enough to form a texture that’s not too doughy, nor too loose. In the meantime, preheat the oven. Take a microwave-safe dish and pour the melted chocolate into it. Spread a layer of crumbles over the chocolate. Bake it in the oven at 160°C for 15-20 minutes. Serve the Chocolate Crumble with custard or just as it is.

Tips

To make Chocolate Crumble, I used different types of chocolate compounds. I melted all of them together to make the chocolate crumble.

What is the Double Boiler Method?

Chocolate can be melted using either the microwave or the double boiler method. For the double boiler method, fill a bowl with water and place it on the stove to heat. In another bowl, break the chocolate into small pieces. Place the chocolate bowl over the water bowl. Gradually, the chocolate will melt. Make sure the chocolate bowl is well covered by the water bowl to prevent steam from getting into the chocolate, as this can cause water droplets to spoil it. Once the chocolate starts melting, remove it from the heat and temper it well. Tempering ensures the chocolate has a smooth finish and a glossy texture.
