Lychee smoothie is a refreshing drink enjoyed during the summer season. It can be made with either canned lychees or fresh lychees. It tastes absolutely delicious and is a great drink for health benefits. Visually, lychees have a dark red color with a slight brownish tinge on the outside.

Inside, the lychee is white. This white part is separated and mixed with milk or coconut milk. To enhance the taste of the lychee smoothie, you can also mix other fruits with it to make the smoothie even more delicious.

Lychee smoothie is very easy to make and can be prepared in no time. During the summer, many dishes are made with mango, and mango is easily available in the market. So, here, I’ve mixed mango and coconut milk with lychee to make the smoothie.

This makes for a fantastic smoothie that can be served as a breakfast. Instead of coconut milk, you can also make the smoothie with regular milk. For those who prefer to avoid regular milk, making the smoothie with coconut milk can be a great alternative.

Lychee is rich in nutrients like vitamins, calcium, potassium, and copper, which help fill the deficiencies in our body and keep us healthy. Lychee smoothie is not only loved by kids but also by adults.

Coconut milk – 3 cups

Sugar,  (bura) desi khand, or desi chini ladoos – 1

How to make lychee smoothie

To make lychee smoothie, first peel the lychees. Then, using a knife, separate the pulp from the seed and discard the seed. Similarly, peel the mango and cut it into small pieces.

In a mixer jar, add coconut milk, lychee pulp, and mango pieces. Also, add sugar and blend everything well.

Pour the lychee smoothie into a glass and serve it topped with chopped cashews and pistachios. Enjoy.

Tips

For making the smoothie, I’ve used desi chini laddus here. You can replace it with powdered sugar or mishri powder, whichever you prefer.

You can adjust the sweetness of the smoothie according to your taste.

For the lychee smoothie, you can add 2-3 drops of vanilla essence for fragrance.
