All-purpose flour (Maida) – 1 cup

Powdered sugar – 3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons

Cocoa powder – 1 tablespoon

Baking powder – 1 teaspoon

Baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon

Salt – A pinch

Yogurt – 1/4 cup

Oil – 1/4 cup

Hot coffee – 1/4 cup

Chocolate essence – 4-5 drops

For the Chocolate Sauce:

Milk – 3/4 glass

Dark chocolate compound – 1/2 cup

Whipping cream – 3-4 tablespoons

Sprinkles – A handful

How to make eggless chocolate cake

To make an eggless chocolate cake, first, take a bowl. Add all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and baking soda to it, and mix well.

In another bowl, pour the oil. Add yogurt to it and whisk it well. Then, add powdered sugar and mix thoroughly. Finally, add a few drops of chocolate essence and combine everything nicely.

Now, gradually add the flour mixture little by little into the wet mixture. Mix it using the cut-and-fold method. Slowly add the hot coffee, one spoon at a time, and mix it well. Stir thoroughly so that the coffee blends perfectly into the batter. If needed, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk and mix until the batter reaches the right consistency.

Grease a cake tin with oil and line the bottom with butter paper. Pour the chocolate batter into the tin. Tap the cake tin on the kitchen platform 2-3 times to remove any air bubbles. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35-40 minutes.

How to make chocolate sauce

For the chocolate sauce, take milk in a pan and bring it to a boil. Once it starts boiling, lower the flame. Add the dark chocolate compound and mix well until it melts completely. Turn off the flame. Once the mixture cools down, add whipped cream and mix thoroughly. Your chocolate sauce is ready.

Tips

Do not add too much whipping cream to the chocolate sauce. Add just enough cream so that the sauce does not remain too liquidy and can hold its shape when poured over the cake.

Instead of dark chocolate compound, you can also use milk chocolate compound if you prefer.

Once the cake is baked, take a toothpick and insert it into the cake. If the toothpick comes out clean without any batter sticking to it, then the cake is properly baked.
