How to make chocolate using compound

To make basic chocolates, melt the dark compound in a double boiler over low heat while stirring constantly. Bring it to a smooth liquid consistency. Now, using a spoon, pour the liquid chocolate into the molds. Fill the entire mold in this way and gently tap it.

Now, place it in a tray and put it in the fridge to set. Once set, take it out of the fridge and carefully remove the chocolates from the molds one by one. Store them in an airtight container and keep them in the fridge. Your homemade chocolates are ready.

Tips and FAQ

What is a double boiler?

Take a pot of water. Place another pot on top of it. Now, chop the chocolate into pieces and add them to the top pot. Stir continuously with a spoon until the chocolate melts completely.

Make sure to keep the gas on low heat. If the heat is too high, the chocolate will burn.

You can also use a microwave, but be sure to stir it well after every 30 seconds. If you like, you can add a little edible oil to the chocolate. This helps the chocolate maintain its shine. I have skipped the oil here.
