For making pancake, take a bowl add gram flour, semolina and wheat flour. along this mix all the vegetables such as spinach, onion, potato, tomato, green onion, and green chilli, add the spices salt, cumin, red chilli powder, coriander seeds. mix everything thoroughly using a spatula. gradually add water to make a batter. ensure that consistency of the batter neither too thick nor thin. as this will affect to make perfect pancake. batter is ready and keep it aside for 5- 10 minutes. after resting, incorporate baking powder and crushed kasuri methi into the batter. mix it. place a non- stick tawa on the heat. spread oil on the surface of non- stick tawa. when the oil heat up. pour a ladelful batter onto the tawa and spred it in circular motion. using the back of the ladle. drizzle oil around the pancake. cook on the medium heat untill one side of chilla become golden brown. flip the chilla and continue cooking. untill it becomes crispy from both sides. crispy besan chilla is ready to serve with sauce and tamarind chutney.
