How to make anjeer smoothie

To make fig smoothie, first, clean the figs thoroughly with water and soak them overnight. Blend the soaked figs into a smooth paste.

In a mixer, add 3 cups of coconut milk, the fig paste, banana, vanilla ice cream, honey, chopped walnuts, and dried blueberries. Blend everything well.

Pour the smoothie into a glass and garnish it with dried blueberries, walnuts, and a sprinkle of chia seeds (Babchi). Your fig smoothie is ready to serve.

Tips

Use the same water in which the figs were soaked overnight to make the fig paste.

You can also use cow milk in the fig smoothie if you prefer. Here, I have used coconut milk.

Soak the chia seeds in water for 5 minutes. Once they swell up and achieve a jelly-like consistency, add them to the smoothie.
