Namaste

Hello, I am Ritu, and I am delighted that you have come to my blog. Here, you will find a variety of cuisines with photos, and not only cooking blogs but also baking blogs. I have tried to make all the recipes in my blogs as easy as possible, while ensuring that they remain delicious.

About Me

As you already know, my name is Ritu, which means "season" or a period of time. Just as the seasons change over time, I believe that we should also make changes to our diet periodically. No matter how many ups and downs there are in life, spirituality is essential to keep life moving forward. Now, let me tell you about my education. I completed my schooling at a Hindi-medium school. After completing my 12th grade, I pursued a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Arts, and a diploma in interior design. Everyone in my family enjoys good food, but it was my mom who had a real passion for cooking exceptionally well, and that’s where my journey began.

How the Food Blog Began

As I mentioned, my journey in cooking started by watching my mom. Watching her cook was always a joy for me. During my college days, I would try something new every Sunday, and everyone loved the taste of my cooking. That’s when I decided to share my recipes with everyone, and I realized that a food blog was the best way to do it. So, in 2020, I launched my blog. I always wanted to present my recipes to you in a simple way, and I hope I succeeded. Little did I know that you all would appreciate my blog so much. Your support and love have inspired me to keep creating better recipes. I have shared many recipes on my blog, and I put the same effort into baking as I do in cooking, always trying to create something new and healthy. To enhance my skills, I also completed a course in Bakery and Confectionery from Shri Ram Institute in Dehradun and did an internship at a five-star hotel, all to bring you the best and healthiest recipes. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my chef, who has made it possible for me to share all the recipes you see and read here. Cooking is an art, and through time and growing interest, I’ve learned how to achieve self-satisfaction from this art. When I feel low, I try out new things, and it helps keep me happy. They say you should do what brings you peace and satisfaction, and for me, that comes from cooking, feeding, and receiving appreciation.

Royal Cuisine of Rajasthan

Rajasthan has always been famous for its royal cuisine, also known as Rajsi Khana. The exquisite dishes that have captivated people around the world are largely thanks to the grand palaces and courts. The unique aroma and flavor of the dishes, combined with the sweet dialect and warmth of the people, are truly captivating. It’s often said that good food can win anyone’s heart. Whether sweet or savory, each dish has its own distinct identity that leaves a lasting impression. Some of these iconic dishes include:

Mirchi Bada

Dal Baati Churma

Bajra Ka Sogra

Khichda

Rajasthani Kadhi

Gatte Ki Sabzi

Ker Sangri Ki Sabzi

Ghevar

Being a Rajasthani, I strive to bring the taste and essence of Rajasthani cuisine to you through my blogs. I am grateful to you all for the positive support you give, which constantly motivates me to progress. Positive energy can indeed bring about change.

About The Recipes

I have shared a variety of recipes on my blog, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. All my recipes are tested, and I have explained them step-by-step with photos. I also share tips in my recipes to help you not just copy but truly understand them. Often, we may not find the necessary ingredients for a recipe, which can be frustrating and time-consuming. That’s why I try to make recipes using ingredients that are easily available at home or in the market.

Purpose of My Recipes

My purpose in creating recipes is simple: to bring out dishes from my kitchen that are not only tasty and fragrant but also good for health. Recipes made with fresh ingredients in a loving home environment are always more valuable than those found in the market. I don’t prioritize unhealthy and junk food. I believe in eating well and staying healthy. I avoid store-bought vegetables and instead use vegetables from my home kitchen garden, which are free from chemicals. Vegetables without chemicals naturally have a better taste, so you don’t need to add many spices to make them delicious.
